MIAMI; Aug. 18, 2026 – Atlas VMS, a leading valuation and mortgage solutions company providing modern appraisal and technology platforms, today announced that it has acquired First Appraisal Management (FAM), a leading appraiser-owned residential appraisal management company serving lenders and brokers across Texas.
FAM has built its reputation on deep local market expertise and long-standing relationships with lender and broker clients across the state. Now part of Atlas VMS, FAM's clients gain access to Atlas LoanShield™, the company's appraisal warranty program, and AIM-Port, Atlas VMS's enterprise order management platform, while keeping the local team they already know.
As part of this transition, FAM’s Managing Partner Nicole Bookout will be named EVP of Appraisal Solutions at Atlas VMS. Bookout has led FAM's appraisal operations in Houston and will now oversee appraisal operations across Atlas VMS, continuing to work directly with existing clients and appraisers in an expanded role.
